On Call Maintenance Technician

Key Role:
Anglin Consulting Group has an opening for an On Call Maintenance Technician to perform service requests and repairs as directed. Performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, preventative and total productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the Company’s business goals and objectives.  This position is an on call position and requires the technician’s flexibility to be available to work beyond normally scheduled shift hours as necessary.
  • Perform scheduled and unplanned maintenance of facility buildings and grounds, including but not limited to: HVAC systems, plumbing and sewer, lighting, painting, dry wall, and fencing, office furniture.
  • Provide support and assist with project work directed by, Plant Manager and/or project lead.
  • Performs related duties and other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment could be loud at times.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing throughout their assigned shift schedule.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Education and/or Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • A Degree associated with Maintenance Technology (or a Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Moving Vehicle Maintenance)
  • Forklift Driving Experience
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes, man lifts, and power tools
  • Ability to interpret parts manuals
  • Proficient with electrical test and diagnostic equipment (volt meters, ammeter, oscilloscope, AC drives)
  • Must be capable of reading and understanding electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Intermediate ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical problems on various manufacturing equipment.
  • Electrician skills including correct wiring practices, replacement of electrical components including push buttons, breakers, motor starters and field sensors.
  • Ability to perform and communicate electronic, mechanical and hydraulic principles used in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic work assignments
