Key Role:
Anglin Consulting Group has an opening for a Developer​ to develop an application independent approach to providing an application integration service from/to and between several systems within the DFS Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) environment.   Create, Develop and Manage Requirements, Help design small modules, Develops code to satisfy the Design.  The District of Columbia Department of Forensic Sciences (DFS) is implementing a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) environment to provide data and case management across all its laboratories, manage the forensic information resulting from analysis and evaluation, and maintain the Chain of Custody for all crime scene evidence and public health specimens within the laboratories.  

The Application Interface Service (AIS) will provide transactional services between databases within the DFS, and to provide a mechanism to collect and analyze laboratory performance metrics and report on case management performance status.  This is seen as an enhancement to the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) environment in DFS, and will provide the DFS management a capability for additional performance and status reporting beyond that provided by the LIMS already.

Additional Developer expertise is required for the Forensics Technology Unit to work on existing system and develop new systems. Must have existing coding and database experience with all systems in place such as AIS, STaCSDNA, Chemware/Horizon PHL LIMS, and JusticeTrax LIMS, in particular V3.7.   This position is located in Washington, DC.


Basic Qualifications:  Able to work comfortably with  minimal supervision; able to work in a fast paced IT environment with quickly changing priorities.  Able to balance resources to achieve maximum productivity in a fast paced environment.
