Key Role:
Anglin Consulting Group has an opening for a Senior Network Engineer to provide customer-facing consulting services, subject matter expertise, engineering services, and operational support as part of the engineering and architecture team in designing, deploying, and operating a mission-critical, converged network.  The objective of this procurement is to assist in the engineering, implementation, and operation of Service Provider Network supporting and connecting critical infrastructure. The individual will provide design recommendations based on industry expertise in requirements analysis, functional design, and deployment of complex technology solutions across enterprise and service provider networks. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Requirements gathering related to implementation of technology solutions across enterprise and service provider networks.
  • Provide hands-on analysis and quality assurance for the network engineering team, leveraging industry expertise related to deployments of complex technology solutions.
  • Experience in analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Design/Implementation experience with Cisco ASR and Nexus platforms in a Service Provider environment supporting network data and voice subscriber services

This position is located in Washington, DC.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree    
Cisco Certified CCNP or CCDP    
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – Routing & Switching    
Analysis, design, and implementation of Cisco routers, switches and firewalls 8  Years
Executive consultancy and design recommendations based on industry expertise 8  Years
Hands on experience and deep understanding of routing protocols including BGP and OSPF 8  Years
QoS implementation in support of (VoIP and Video) services 8  Years
Requirement analysis, functional design of complex enterprise or ISP solutions 8  Years
Technology solutions requirements analysis across enterprise and ISP networks 8  Years
Design and Implementation of IP and MPLS in an ISP core network 7  Years
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) 7  Years
Possesses good network diagramming skills 7  Years
Technical understanding to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 7  Years
Deep understanding of Encryption and Encapsulation Technologies such as IPSec and GRE 6  Years
Large Scale Design/Implementation of Cisco ASR and Nexus platforms in an ISP environment 4  Years
Design and transition planning of IPv6 in a large scale ISP environment 3  Years
Designing for F5 Load balancers in Cisco data center network environments 3  Years
Understanding of SIP and H.323 3  Years
Desired Qualifications:
Master of Science Degree in a Computer field

This is a contract position with a minimum duration of one (1) year with option to extend based on performance and client needs.
