Project Manager (Technical)

Key Role:
Anglin Consulting Group has an opening for a  Project Manager (Technical) to manage and appropriately escalate, deliver impediment and make changes tied to the product development initiative.  Ensure deliverables across engineering teams are high quality and clearly documented.  Build constructive business relationships with senior business stakeholders and ensure project support and commitment.  Identifies and communicates project vision, goals and objectives.  Define project scope, deliverables, roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders.  Assign and monitor work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time and within budget.  Oversee all project activities across both the technical and business perspectives.  Understand, track and articulate issues / risks / action items; work with those responsible to address the items on a timely basis; update the appropriate stakeholders as needed.  Manage scope throughout the project duration.  Maintains accurate program estimates, timelines, project plans, status reports.  Identify resource needs and negotiates with cross-agency leadership to secure necessary resources and cooperation.  Must have expertise in project management discipline and techniques; Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels; Plans budgets for equipment, resources and vendors.  Designs and implement processes to monitor and control resources, budget, risks and value.  Manage and tracks team velocity, financials, and other KPIs in relation to the plan and published progress reports.  Assign development resources to activities and monitors performance across resource channels.  Conducts daily stand-ups and retrospectives at the end of each sprint, and ensures that the team is continuously learning from the past.  Resolves conflicts by demonstrating leadership and appropriate decision-making competencies.  This position is located in Washington, DC.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree    
Project Management Experience in the delivery of Technology Solutions in a Government environment 13  Years
Experience gathering requirements for technology infrastructure solutions 10  Years
Experience in both technical and non-technical documentation and presentations 10  Years
Working knowledge of wired and wireless networking concepts and design 8  Years
Experience in Telecommunication Projects (Voice cutovers, Inside Plant, Outside Plant, network equipment deployment and configuration, cabling, etc) 8  Years
PMP Certified 5  Years

Desired Qualifications:
Technology or Project Management related Master’s Degree 5  Years
Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices 5  Years
Experience in process and implementation management in a technology company 5  Years

Clearance:  Applicants selected will be subject to a security and/or background investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

This is a contract position with a minimum duration of one (1) year with option to extend based on performance and client needs.
